I was looking forward to Josie Maran's tinted moisturizer for the argan oil and other moisturizng ingredients for my winter and spring skin. My skin tend to get really dry during these seasons. It has a thick and creamy texture like a cream foundation so it's not really like any other tinted moisturizers. Compared this to my Smashbox tinted moisturizer, Smashbox is more moisturizing and it gives a more radiant glow than this one. I expected this product to more moisturizing than my Smashbox one since it contains argan oil and other oils, but it felt a bit drying to my skin. The coverage is sheer to medium so it evens out some imperfections on my skin. It's fine since I usually set with a mineral powder for extra coverage. For the coverage, it's not really worth the money, but since it has SPF30 I guess it works as a quick all in one makeup routine. The color linen seem to be more on the warmer side rather than a neutral shade. I find that if I don't use a wet brush or buff this onto the skin, the product tend to dry in a darker streaky shade on parts of my face where it's not blended well enough. The thick consistency seem to make it a bit harder to blend out.

Cons:

• Very sheer
• Gets a bit streaky
• Accentuates my dry patches
• Limited colors avaiable
• May clog pores on some people due to the oils in the product and the thick texture of the product.
• Harder to blend because of the creamy texture.
• Not really moisturizing during winter or drier seasons. I have combination skin and it's not enough during the winter or spring when my skin is on the drier side. Might be better during the summer. I'll update when that comes around.

Update 7/4/12(Happy 4th!): Finally started using this for summer and it seems to be a better fit than winter or spring. It was the perfect coverage and protection for the hot summer days and outdoor activities. I was out all day with this and my face was not oily or shiny. I only apply the tinted moisturizer on and set it with my Laura Mercier mineral powder for extra SPF. The color seem to blend in a lot better since I got a bit more color from the sun now. I guess it's not so bad after all.
