I can't say how much I'm in love with this powder. It gives the right amount of luminosity to my face without being cakey or powdery. I guess that's what it's meant by hydrating. It may seem expensive for the price, but it's well worth it for the amount of product you get and the genius built-in dispenser. AMAZING!!! I wish all powder compacts come like this. I found that Light is my perfect match and can be comparable to BE medium beige. Their colors seem to be a bit off than what I expected, so go with a lighter shade than you normally would. It does come with a mini brush for the price I listed below, but I don't find it the best brush to use for this product. It's probably good for on the go, but I rather bring a small retractable brush. $59 for this powder is not expensive considering it comes with 0.75 oz of product. It does last a really long time. Compared to Bare Escentuals full sized mineral powders which comes in sizes from 0.21 - 0.28 for matte and original formulas which cost $26-$28. If you think this is a replacement to BE, this is not. The coverage is sheer to buildable coverage and would only work if you have little to no imperfections. The finish of this is much better than BE. It gives a natural glow rather than a shiny unnatural finish which I get when I use BE original glow.

Tips: Use some alcohol on a cotton pad to disinfect the metal grinding piece every now and then to clean up oil and bacteria buildup. It helps to pick up the powder better without the grime from daily use.


Note: The little snap thing to close the compact broke after a few months of use. I'm still able to close it but it doesn't work well for traveling. I have to put a rubber band around it to make it travel friendly. Really hope they make it into a twist lid like their other halo powders. Otherwise, I still love the product.
